Pastor & Staff

Programming / Women’s Ministries Leader
First Lady Cynthia White leads the Programming Team and Soul Sisters, the women’s ministry of COKCC.
She has been married to Pastor James White for over 35 years. Collectively they have been in ministry for their entire married life. Before starting COKCC, they served with Cru as missionaries to college students at Howard University in Washington, DC.
A native of Hampton, VA, and a graduate of Old Dominion University, she is an entrepreneur, speaker, coach, mentor, and published author of a 31-day devotional. She has served as a part-time Adjunct Instructor at Wake Technical College, served on the board of a local nonprofit, and volunteers with NAMI of Wake County.
She and Pastor James are the parents of three adult children.

Governance: Small Groups / A/V / Security / Social Ministries
Elder Colin Adams helps shepherd the body through preaching, teaching, and counseling.
Born and raised in Toledo, OH, Colin is married to his college sweetheart, Shaunte, with whom he co-leads the small group ministry. They have a twin son and daughter. In his full-time career, Colin teaches psychology at a local university.

Governance: Finance / Financial Peace / Benevolence / Missions / Facilities
Elder Gary shepherds and serves through his leadership over the finance team.
He has been a faithful member of COKCC almost since its inception. From Shallotte, NC, and a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, his leadership continued as he served in the North Carolina National Guard for nine years, earning the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
As a business owner and former Board Member of the Ingram Family YMCA, he has a passion for entrepreneurship. He and his wife Imelda are the parents of two children.

Church Administrator
Robyn serves as Church Administrator, a teacher in Children’s Ministry, and a Small Group Leader.
She has been a member of Christ Our King Community Church since 2016. She is also a teacher who holds several degrees from East Carolina University and North Carolina Central University.
